Pearl Jam tantalizes fans with a sneak peek of their upcoming song, “Running,” but there’s a twist: you’ll need to point your smartphone at the sky to access it. Here’s how:

  1. Visit darkmatter.pearljam.com.
  2. Click on “Get Started.”
  3. Grant access to your camera and motion sensors.
  4. Pump up the volume!
  5. Direct your phone’s camera towards the sky and follow the arrow to locate the dark matter portal.
  6. Once located, hit “Observe”…

This isn’t the first time the band has employed augmented reality to unveil new music. They previously used a similar method to promote “Superblood Wolfmoon” from their album Gigaton.
