WOODHAWK Unleashes Powerful New Single “Relapser” From Forthcoming Album Love Finds A Way
Calgary-based rock trio Woodhawk has unveiled “Relapser,” the second single from their highly anticipated third studio album Love Finds A Way, set for release on June 6, 2025, via Grand Hand Records. Known for their heavy, fuzz-laden riffs and emotionally resonant songwriting, Woodhawk delivers a potent track that captures the tension between personal growth and the weight of recurring struggles.
“Relapser” arrives as one of the last songs written for the album, and the band considers it a defining moment in their creative journey. In a statement about the single, Woodhawk shared:
“This was one of the last few songs we wrote for the album. It really embodied this new step forward we were taking. Through all the growth and change we go through, it can be really defeating to feel like you fall back into old habits or patterns you are trying to get away from. These demons at the door are always there, trying to drag you back down. Nothing feels better than getting away from it. And nothing feels scarier than getting pulled back in.”
Blending their signature heavy-rock foundation with increasing emotional depth, “Relapser” reflects the band’s evolving perspective and maturity. The track explores themes of internal conflict and resilience—falling back into old patterns, yet continuing to push forward.
Love Finds A Way will be Woodhawk’s first full-length release since 2019’s Violent Nature. The new record promises a blend of classic rock grit and modern stoner metal, appealing to fans of acts like Black Sabbath, The Sword, and Red Fang. It’s a natural progression from their earlier work, building on their reputation for riff-driven power and raw emotional expression.
