Sarah McLachlan Reschedules 30th Anniversary Canadian Tour for Fumbling Towards Ecstasy
Sarah McLachlan has confirmed the new dates for the Canadian leg of her Fumbling Towards Ecstasy 30th anniversary tour, which had been postponed last year due to illness. Originally set to begin in November 2024, the tour was delayed after McLachlan developed a case of laryngitis and was forced to cancel her scheduled performances.
Now fully recovered, the acclaimed singer-songwriter is set to hit the road this fall with a string of rescheduled dates across Canada. Supporting her on the tour will be rising folk trio Tiny Habits.
“I’m really excited to bring the tour across Canada,” McLachlan shared in a statement. “It was so disappointing to have to cancel the 2024 tour due to my vocal health, and I’m grateful that we were able to reschedule. I’m fully recovered and recharged and can’t wait to share the Fumbling Towards Ecstasy 30th Anniversary tour with my home country — and maybe a few new songs as well.”
She added, “Fumbling Towards Ecstasy is a very special record for me, and this tour is a real walk down memory lane. I’m hoping that the songs will bring back a lot of good memories for everybody.”
The tour will begin on October 15 in Victoria, British Columbia, and include additional stops in Kelowna, Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, and Winnipeg. McLachlan will also perform in several Ontario cities, including Windsor, London, Ottawa, Rama, Toronto, and Peterborough, along with Quebec dates in Montreal and Quebec City. The East Coast will also be represented with shows in Moncton and Halifax.
