Ringo Starr to Host Wildfire Recovery Benefit Concert with Star-Studded Lineup

Ringo Starr has announced a spectacular two-night benefit concert at Nashville’s renowned Ryman Auditorium, dedicated to aiding wildfire recovery efforts in Los Angeles. The event, dubbed Ringo & Friends At The Ryman, will take place tonight and tomorrow and promises an unforgettable musical experience.

This special concert will feature an impressive lineup of guest artists, including Jack White, Sheryl Crow, Rodney Crowell, Mickey Guyton, Emmylou Harris, Sarah Jarosz, Jamey Johnson, Brenda Lee, Larkin Poe, Billy Strings, Molly Tuttle, and The War And Treaty, among others. These celebrated performers will join Starr on stage to put a country spin on classic Beatles songs and other hits.

Highlights of the setlist include reimagined versions of Beatles favorites such as “Boys,” “Act Naturally,” “With A Little Help From My Friends,” “Yellow Submarine,” and “Don’t Pass Me By,” as well as Starr’s solo track “It Don’t Come Easy.” The concert will blend timeless rock and roll with a country flair, reflecting Starr’s recent musical ventures.

The event is part of the promotional efforts for Starr’s upcoming country album, Look Up, produced by the legendary T Bone Burnett. The benefit concert will also be filmed for a television special set to premiere on CBS and Paramount+ later this spring.
