Radiohead Sparks Reunion Rumors with New Business Filing and Unearthed Performance Video

Radiohead Hints at Reunion, Potential New Music or Tour
Legendary rock band Radiohead has sparked speculation of a long-anticipated reunion, reigniting fans’ hopes for new music or a possible tour. The acclaimed group, known for its innovative and experimental sound, has taken a key legal step that could signify upcoming projects.
According to Billboard, the five members of Radiohead—Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood, Colin Greenwood, Philip Selway, and Ed O’Brien—have recently established a new limited liability partnership (LLP) named RHEUK25 LLP. This information was revealed through the British Government’s Companies House agency, which records business registrations. Such LLPs serve as legal entities that allow artists to work outside the constraints of traditional record label agreements.
A Familiar Pattern for Radiohead
The creation of this LLP is particularly intriguing given the band’s history of using similar legal structures ahead of major releases. Pitchfork notes that Radiohead previously established LLPs before unveiling their last studio album, A Moon Shaped Pool (2016), as well as earlier projects like The King of Limbs (2011), Kid A Mnesia (2021), and their groundbreaking 2007 release In Rainbows. Given this pattern, fans are speculating that a new album or tour announcement may be imminent.
However, there is also the possibility that the LLP could be related to an entirely different project. Lead singer Thom Yorke has employed similar legal structures before launching side projects such as Atoms for Peace and The Smile. Unlike those instances, though, this new LLP includes all five core members of Radiohead, making it far more likely to be connected to the band’s activities.
A Nostalgic Tease: Unearthed VHS Performance
Adding fuel to the speculation, Radiohead released a rare archival VHS performance video last Friday, featuring an intimate 25-minute acoustic set by Thom Yorke from 1995. According to Rolling Stone, this unearthed footage commemorates the 30th anniversary of the band’s seminal album The Bends. The timing has led to theories that Radiohead may be planning a reissue of the iconic album or a special anniversary tour.
A Celebrated Legacy
Radiohead remains one of the most revered and influential bands in rock history. Since their breakthrough with Creep in 1992, they have consistently pushed the boundaries of alternative rock. With hits such as “Fake Plastic Trees,” “Karma Police,” “Paranoid Android,” and “The National Anthem,” the band has cemented its reputation as a genre-defying force.
Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019, Radiohead has received multiple Grammy Awards and critical acclaim, with five of their albums ranking among Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
While there is no official confirmation of new music or a tour, these recent developments suggest that something significant is on the horizon. Fans eagerly await further announcements from the band, hoping for a long-overdue return to the stage and studio.
