Play Dead Cult Shop

The Playdead story began in 1999 when co-founders Stu Dead and Bean took their ambition to start a revolution of their own and created a collective of various media, which is ever-evolving and always joining forces with like-minded individuals. They won’t stop striving until they have created a Playdead theme park, touring circus, and burger joint!

Playdead’s motto is “For the Black Collar Worker” – Playdead Cult is for those who don’t want to blend in with the masses; people who want to make a statement with what they are wearing.

Playdead preaches that if you can’t find your place in this world, create one for yourself! Don’t wait for an invitation to be part of a movement, initiate your own action!

Featuring clothing adorned with the art of Co-owner Stu, who draws inspiration from the world as he interprets it through his A.D.D. ridden brain, and finished with Bean’s O.C.D. an eye for detail, each piece in the Playdead clothing line becomes not just a hand-screened T-shirt or skirt but a piece of (dys) functional art!

The new Playdesd Cult Shop is located at 1696 Queen St. West and it’s open Wed-SAT from 12 pm to 7 pm. Sunday 12pm-4pm. Monday and Tuesday by chance or appointment. Please contact us for more info. info@playdeadcult.com.
