Outlaw Music Festival Returns to Boise with Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan, and More

The highly anticipated Outlaw Music Festival is making its return to Boise, bringing an incredible lineup of legendary musicians and rising stars. Led by country music icon Willie Nelson, this year’s festival promises an unforgettable night of folk, country, and rock.

Now in its 10th year, the Outlaw Music Festival has grown into North America’s largest touring festival, offering fans a full evening of outstanding live performances. Gates will open at 3 p.m., with music kicking off at 4 p.m. The show is scheduled to run for approximately 5 1/2 hours, though with the festival’s tradition of spontaneous collaborations and all-star jam sessions, it could last even longer.

Fans of classic country and folk-rock will be thrilled to see Willie Nelson, 91, and Bob Dylan, 83, share the stage. These two music legends have left an indelible mark on the industry with their iconic songwriting and timeless performances. However, the festival’s lineup doesn’t stop there—it also features an impressive roster of contemporary artists who are redefining the genre.

One of the biggest draws this year is bluegrass sensation Billy Strings. A virtuoso guitarist and dynamic performer, Strings won the Grammy Award for Best Bluegrass Album in 2021 for his critically acclaimed record, Home. He recently added another Grammy win to his accolades for his 2024 release, Live Vol. 1.

Joining the festival is Sierra Hull, a mandolin prodigy and gifted vocalist who signed with Rounder Records at just 13 years old. With two Grammy nominations under her belt, Hull is widely recognized as one of the finest contemporary bluegrass musicians.

Also performing is singer-songwriter Meola, known for her powerful and enchanting voice. A former America’s Got Talent contestant, Meola has captivated audiences with her soulful performances and impressive vocal range.

This marks only the second time the Outlaw Music Festival has visited the Boise market, making it a must-see event for fans in the region. Tickets will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on Friday, with prices ranging from $59.50 to $299.50. They will be available for purchase through the Ford Idaho Center website, fordidahocenter.com. Additionally, Idaho Center and Live Nation presales will begin at 10 a.m. on Wednesday.

With a stellar lineup and the promise of unforgettable collaborations, the 2025 Outlaw Music Festival is shaping up to be one of the year’s most exciting musical events. Don’t miss your chance to be part of this extraordinary night of live music in Boise!
