Metallica Announces Massive ‘Load’ Reissue Box Set with Over 1,800 Minutes of Content

Metallica has officially announced a comprehensive reissue of their chart-topping 1996 album Load, due for release on June 13. This remastered edition is not just a re-release—it’s an expansive archival project that delves deep into the band’s mid-’90s era with a wealth of previously unreleased content.

The reissue will be available in several formats, including standard 180-gram 2LP vinyl, CD, cassette, and digital. However, the highlight of this release is undoubtedly the Load (Remastered) Limited Edition Deluxe Box Set, designed for die-hard fans and collectors.

What’s Inside the Load Deluxe Box Set?

Described by the band as “an ambitious and comprehensive time capsule of 1995–1997 era Metallica,” the deluxe box set is a deep dive into one of the band’s most creatively exploratory periods.
