Mark Zuckerberg is shredded now. But Apple exec Craig Federighi can shred on the guitar.
While it received a lot of buzz, so did a surprising guitar solo from Apple exec Craig Federighi.
During the Worldwide Developers Conference, Craig Federighi, Apple’s senior vice president of software engineering, was shown wearing a leather jacket and holding a triple-neck electric guitar. As a segue to introducing updates to Apple’s Airpods product, Federighi proceeds to play a guitar riff.
The moment, videos of which have been circulating on social media, had many wondering if Federighi was actually playing the guitar. Later that week, Federighi appeared on John Gruber’s “The Talk Show,” an annual event held after WWDC. In a video clip from the interview, Joswiak pulls out an electric blue guitar from behind two chairs — prompting laughter and cheers from the crowd. Joswiak asks Federighi if he actually played the lick in the keynote, to which Federighi responds, “I don’t know, man,” before proceeding to jam away in an extended guitar solo.
