In a recent interview with the Orange County Register, Nancy Wilson opened up about the challenges of touring: “Unless you’re at the private jet level— and we’re on the bus level— the inconveniences almost outweigh the reward of getting up on a stage for two hours. It’s all about those two hours, dealing with bad pizza, no sleep, overnight bus rides, and missing family time. It’s an obstacle course, but once you’re on stage, it’s worth it.”

She also spoke about the magic of performing live: “Being on stage is everything my whole life has led to. People are there, loving the songs. It’s a moment that only happens once, and you have to be fully present for it. You can’t be thinking about anything else, or you’ll miss the magic.”

HEART’s Return to the Stage

HEART recently launched the 2025 North American leg of their “Royal Flush” tour on February 28 at the BleauLive Theater in Las Vegas. This marked their first live performance since postponing their 2024 tour to allow Ann Wilson to undergo cancer treatments. The rescheduled Royal Flush” tour is set to conclude on April 16 in New York City.

The current HEART lineup includes:

  • Nancy Wilson – Rhythm, lead & acoustic guitar, backing & lead vocals
  • Ann Wilson – Lead vocals, flute
  • Ryan Wariner – Lead & rhythm guitar
  • Ryan Waters – Guitars
  • Paul Moak – Guitars, keyboards, backing vocals
  • Tony Lucido – Bass, backing vocals
  • Sean Lane – Drums

HEART’s Legacy

In December 2023, HEART played their first concerts in over four years, performing in Highland, CA, Greater Palm Springs, and Seattle, WA. Before that, their last show was in October 2019 in St. Paul, MN.

The band previously toured North America in 2019 following a three-year estrangement between Ann and Nancy Wilson. Their tumultuous history includes a well-publicized split in 2016 after an altercation involving Ann’s husband and Nancy’s teenage sons. However, their 2013 induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame reunited them with original members Roger Fisher, Steve Fossen, Michael DeRosier, and Howard Leese for a performance—the first in 34 years.

Since forming in the 1970s, HEART has sold over 35 million records worldwide, cementing their place as one of rock’s most influential bands. Their hits, including “Dreamboat Annie,” “Magic Man,” “Crazy On You,” and “Barracuda,” remain fan favorites. In 2012, their memoir Kicking & Dreaming: A Story of Heart, Soul, and Rock & Roll became a New York Times bestseller.

With “An Evening With Heart” on the horizon, fans can look forwarTFd to an unforgettable concert experience celebrating one of rock’s most iconic bands.
