Foreigner Announces 2025 Canadian Tour Featuring Guest Vocalist Geordie Brown

Foreigner’s 2025 Canadian Tour Announced with Guest Vocalist Geordie Brown
Legendary rock band Foreigner has officially announced their highly anticipated 2025 Canadian tour, set to take place in the fall. With longtime frontman Kelly Hansen unavailable for this leg of the tour, the band has enlisted Canadian vocalist and Broadway performer Geordie Brown as a special guest singer. The tour will kick off on October 21 in St. John’s, Newfoundland, and conclude on November 7 in Kelowna, British Columbia. Canadian rock group 54-40 will join as the supporting act for most of the dates.
Geordie Brown’s Connection to Foreigner
Foreigner’s decision to feature Geordie Brown as their guest vocalist is a strategic one, as Brown has a strong connection to the band’s music. He played the male lead in the 2018 workshop production of Juke Box Hero, The Musical in Calgary and Edmonton, as well as during its sold-out 2019 run at Toronto’s Ed Mirvish Theatre. Juke Box Hero, The Musical—which is based on Foreigner’s music—is set to return to production in 2026.
Mick Jones, the band’s guitarist and founding member, praised Brown’s vocal abilities and stage presence in a statement:
“I was most impressed by Geordie’s performances in Juke Box Hero, The Musical in Canada. He is not only a consummate vocalist but also a verified Broadway actor to boot. We look forward to welcoming him at our shows on Foreigner’s 2025 Canadian tour.”
