Ivy is currently writing on her experiences in the remote fly-in community of Naujaat, Nunavut (formerly Repulse Bay). In October 2016, she lived with the Inuit in their homes and investigated the education, healthcare, food, and housing conditions, while giving talks at the elementary and high-school, and the air-cadets on the importance of post-secondary education, their settled land claims, and how the future of Canada hinges on its youngest, and fully bilingual population; the Inuit.
