Guests include Steve Marriner, Jordan Officer, Stephen Barry, and Vann “Piano Man” Walls. Can’t Keep A Good Man Down was intended as a companion to the Juno-nominated “Sliding Delta” from 2015.
“Arguably the finest acoustic blues artist in this country.” – Globe and Mail
In 1968, Harrison joined the Detroit pop group, The Chairmen of the Board and played all the top venues, including spots on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, Soul Train, American Bandstand and UK Top of the Pops, performing their hit, Gimme Just a Little More Time. With the band, Harrison had the honour of sharing the stage with such legendary performers as BB King, James Brown, Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder, Funkadelics and countless others. He even has the distinction of having played at the legendary Apollo Theatre in New York City.
At Hugh’s Room Live, we are thrilled to host the CD launch of Michael Jerome Browne and the special appearance by Harrison Kennedy on Friday, February 22, 2019.
