Come to my first Toronto concert in a long time! I will be singing my new Lullabyeeees backed by Melinda Suarez. Justin James will also join on keyboard for some jazz numbers. Oh yeah.

Janice Jo Lee, aka Sing Hey, is folk-blues singer-songwriter from Kitchener, on Haldimand Tract treaty territory. Lee is a hard femme queer radical and is passionate about building flourishing communities based in justice and joy through art. On stage she creates vocal looping landscapes alongside her guitar, trumpet and Korean jangu drum. The Toronto debut of her one-woman musical satire Will You Be My Friend was produced by Green Light Arts at Theatre Passe Muraille in Fall 2018. (NNNN Now Magazine) Lee has performed at festivals across Canada including Hillside, Kultrun, In the Soil, Home County, Pervers/cité, and Artswells. This year will see the release of her third studio album Ancestor Song, and an EP titled Lullabyes.
