Crown Lands End Of The Road

“End of The Road” pays tribute to the Indigenous woman, girls, and two spirits who have gone missing or have been murdered on Yellowhead Highway 16 in British Columbia, which is referred to as the Highway of Tears. We are sharing this as a reflective address of the disproportionate violence and ongoing injustices experienced by Indigenous communities with hopes to encourage education, discussion, and action surrounding this national crisis. We don’t claim to have any answers, but we want to use our voice to bring awareness and help make a difference. Thank you to everyone who helped make our vision for this video a reality.

“End Of The Road” lyrics: And the rain kept comin’ The cold is drawing near Oh vengeance runnin’ Woah On this highway of tears Let all this darkness dissipate At the end of the road I thought I heard you say No lookin’ back Gotta run away Stolen sisters in the night Return to the ground below Then lightning strikes And thunder shakes her soul Let all this darkness dissipate At the end of the road I thought I heard you say No lookin back Gotta run away In a sea of stars I’ll find you again Give them back At the end of the road I thought I heard you say Not yours to keep Gotta run away Music video by Crown Lands performing End Of The Road. © 2020 Universal Music Canada Inc.
