Blink-182’s Deluxe Album Scores Big on UK Charts, Proving Enduring Fan Loyalty

When Blink-182 reunited with its original lineup—Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge, and Travis Barker—a year and a half ago, fans were ecstatic. Their long-anticipated comeback album, One More Time, received widespread praise from both listeners and critics. Now, the band has expanded the record, releasing One More Time – Pt 2, which has independently made its mark on the UK charts.

Both One More Time and its deluxe counterpart, One More Time – Pt 2, are now charting in the United Kingdom, demonstrating the band’s continued popularity. While the original album makes a return to the charts, the new edition debuts as a standalone release, further cementing Blink-182’s influence in the rock and pop-punk genre.

One More Time – Pt 2 Makes a Strong Debut

The deluxe edition of One More Time has launched onto four different UK charts this week. Although it ranks behind the original album on all of these lists, its ability to chart as a separate entity speaks to the dedication of Blink-182’s UK fanbase.

The highest position for One More Time – Pt 2 comes on the Official Rock & Metal Albums chart, where it narrowly misses the top ten, debuting at No. 12. This ranking highlights its strong performance within the rock genre.

On the Official Vinyl Albums chart, the record lands at No. 36, demonstrating solid sales in physical formats, particularly among vinyl collectors. Physical album sales have played a crucial role in the album’s chart performance, as evidenced by its positions on the Official Physical Albums chart (No. 78) and the Official Albums Sales chart (No. 82).

The Original One More Time Remains a Chart Powerhouse

Not only has One More Time – Pt 2 made a noteworthy debut, but the original One More Time album has also re-entered all four of these rankings, further proving its staying power. The comeback album makes an impressive climb to No. 2 on the Official Rock & Metal Albums chart, trailing only behind Alk Blk Era’s Rave Immortal. Additionally, it resurfaces at No. 9 on the Official Vinyl Albums chart, and ranks No. 14 on both the Official Physical Albums and Official Albums Sales charts.

Blink-182’s Continued Chart Success

With these latest entries, Blink-182 has now accumulated 11 hits on the bestselling physical albums chart and nearly as many on the Official Rock & Metal Albums chart. Meanwhile, One More Time – Pt 2 marks the band’s sixth entry on both the Official Albums Sales and Official Vinyl Albums charts.

These rankings underscore Blink-182’s enduring appeal and the loyalty of their fanbase. Decades after their debut, the band continues to make waves in the music industry, proving that their signature blend of rock and pop-punk still resonates with audiences worldwide.
