Badflower’s latest music video for “London” captures the band’s intensity, pairing well-dressed visuals with their alternative rock sound. Released in 2025 under Big Machine Records/John Varvatos Records, the track showcases frontman Josh Katz’s candid lyricism and the band’s post-grunge influences

The video juxtaposes dimly lit backdrops with intimate close-ups of the band performing, mirroring the song’s themes of isolation and self-reflection. While details about the narrative remain sparse, the visual style aligns with Badflower’s history of tackling uncomfortable emotions like anxiety and depression through art.

Formed in Los Angeles in 2013, Badflower built their reputation on emotionally charged tracks like “Ghost” and “30,” often written during late-night bursts of creativity. The quartet – Katz, Joey Morrow (guitar), Alex Espiritu (bass), and Anthony Sonetti (drums) – gained early recognition through relentless touring and self-produced EPs recorded in apartment studios. Their 2021 album This Is How the World Ends marked a turning point, with half the band relocating to Nashville to deepen their creative exploration

Though lighter on overt social commentary than previous releases like “Family” or “Johnny Wants to Fight,” the track continues Badflower’s tradition of blending melodic verses with explosive choruses. As alternative press notes, the band thrives on polarizing audiences while maintaining musical integrity. With over a decade in the industry, they remain torchbearers for rock’s evolving identity – part grunge revival, part emo introspection, and wholly unconcerned with genre boundaries

The “London” video arrives as Badflower prepares for new tours, continuing their legacy of connecting with fans through visceral performances and unfiltered storytelling
