The immensely talented 11-year-old left the judges in awe and has undoubtedly piqued the interest of musicians and bands across the globe looking for the next big guitar sensation.

When Pearson first stepped onto the stage, he admitted to feeling nervous, but his confidence quickly grew as he introduced himself. Armed with what appeared to be a Patrick James Eggle guitar, the young musician shared that he first picked up the electric guitar at the age of seven. When asked about his musical influences, he named AC/DC’s Angus Young as his favorite guitarist—a revelation that instantly impressed judge Simon Cowell, who responded enthusiastically, “Okay. Now you’re talking.”

With the crowd already rallying behind him and his proud grandfather, Lee, watching from the sidelines, Pearson launched into a powerful rendition of AC/DC’s “Highway to Hell.” His precision, tone, and stage presence were far beyond his years, immediately electrifying the audience. As the energy in the room intensified, Pearson seamlessly transitioned into Van Halen’s “Jump,” effortlessly executing Eddie Van Halen’s signature licks with remarkable finesse.

The young prodigy saved the best for last, delivering a flawless and exhilarating performance of Brian May’s legendary solo from Queen’s “Don’t Stop Me Now.” His mastery of the guitar, combined with his undeniable charisma, had the entire auditorium on their feet, applauding and cheering in pure amazement.

As the final note rang out, the judges and audience erupted in a standing ovation, recognizing the rare talent they had just witnessed. Moments later, the unmistakable sound of the Golden Buzzer filled the room, officially catapulting Pearson into the spotlight and marking the beginning of what could be an incredible career in music.

With his passion, technical skill, and an innate ability to command the stage, Olly Pearson has already proven himself to be a force to be reckoned with in the world of rock guitar. If his performance on Britain’s Got Talent is any indication, the future is exceptionally bright for this young shredder.
